On Wednesday we will have a considerable number of secondary students traveling to Arusha for Faith’s funeral at the Arusha Christian Worship Centre starting at 10am. To provide the students with the support needed at a time like this we need to have a large proportion of the secondary teaching staff attend as well. In light of this, it will be very hard to staff any sort of secondary classes so we will not have any secondary classes on Wednesday.
I am aware that cancelling of classes might be difficult for you, so please be informed that whilst there will be no official classes, we will still have some staff and residential students on campus. We will be running some activities for younger MYP students in particular, so if you need to have an M1 or M2 student join us on campus for the day, please let me know so that we can plan for them to be here as well.
If you are planning to travel to the funeral, may I please suggest sharing transport if possible since I understand parking may be difficult with the expected numbers.
The PYP classes will run as normal on this day.
