At UWC East Africa we are consistently looking at school procedures to ensure they are up to date and aligned with school values. Here this is a complicated process as we strive consistency between the campuses. This year a cross campus group has been working on updating our behavioral procedures.
In this process we were looking at providing a procedure that provides a clear framework built on understanding the severity of different actions and the difference between a single event and consistent behavior. We also realize that the framework needs as well to be flexible enough to deal with the context of a given situation.
