Dear Parents,
This morning we received the devastating news that Paul Malimi passed away unexpectedly last night from respiratory failure while being taken to KCMC hospital. We know it will be a tremendous shock to all members of our community.
Paul joined ISM/UWCEA on Moshi campus as a Swahili and English teacher seven years ago from Mihama Secondary School in his hometown of Mwanza. He was a highly respected member of staff and a much-loved teacher. During his time here he was involved not only at the school but also in the community through various projects like helping our students connect with patients at KCMC. He will be terribly missed by his friends and his students.
It is likely that Paul will return home to Mwanza this weekend. Our thoughts are with his wife, daughter and brother, along with his wider family and his friends.
