We have an extensive co-curricular activity programme. Broadly speaking, our Co-curricular programme can be divided into a number of categories:
Sports
Our Sports activities are many and varied. The school is a member of the Northern Tanzania Athletics Association and participates in leagues and competitions against other schools in the region. The teams are campus specific and are known as the Arusha Rhinos and the Moshi Leopards! For national events, the school often competes as one team.
Service
Service activities aim to inspire every student to be a global citizen who will be able to meet the challenges of the world. An integral part of our CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) programme, all secondary students participate in service activities.
Creativity
Although all students develop their creative skills in each subject area by developing novel and useful solutions to problems, the CAS programme and Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) encourage students to develop use their creativity in a wide variety of activities.
Outdoor Pursuits (OP)
We are proud of our Outdoor Pursuits (OP) programme which takes many students to the wonderful outdoor spaces in Tanzania, including Mounts Kilimanjaro and Meru.
Duke of Edinburgh International Award
The Award is for students aged 14-24 years – at each level, students have to complete a skill, a physical activity, a service and an adventurous journey.
