COMMUNITY BRUNCH – Saturday September 19th 9.30am – 11.30am.

Only 10,000tsh per person for a delicious brunch at Blue Heron Mateves.

It has been an unusual start to the year but we would love for us all to get together and connect with our UWCEA Arusha Campus Community.
It’s a great way to meet new teachers and families and get to know our Boarders.

Mrs Bowen and I enjoyed the reconnaissance walk along along the Ngaramtoni Korongo this evening and I would have the following to report as you contemplate whether to join us on Saturday morning at 8am.

There is no footpath in the gorge and so be prepared to scramble over rocks in the riverbed. The plastic litter is quite voluminous so we will be busy picking lots of it up! The walk is about 3kms from UWCEA to Schwari and is likely to take around an hour and a half. The river is spectacular in places and the birdlife was most appealing. Hope that helps.
