The word of the week has been ‘R-A-I-N’ on Arusha Campus. The heavy downpours have kept the gardening team working overtime and for the first time in my career at ISMAC, the small river on the eastern boundary of the campus actually started flowing. Whilst the rain has been fun for most, our thoughts go out to the families of Hadija and Christina who were two primary school girls from Arusha who died in the floods. They, and many others have been victims of the heavy rain.
As Mr Acomb says below, we congratulate our D2 graduates who left their classrooms for the very last time today. Their work is not over, as now begins the tricky part of examination time. Best of luck to you all. You have completed your journey, are well prepared for the challenge ahead and will come through with flying colours!
Last weekend, Moshi Campus hosted a gala dinner to raise money for a scholarship student to attend ISM. The event raised a magnificent sum in excess of $15 000 so congratulations to the organisers for a super achievement.
