You’ve likely heard about the 24-Hour Run in our recent newsletters, and we’re officially kicking off today at 2:00 PM! Our runners are ready to hit the field and complete as many laps as possible! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Together, We Run & Walk for a Scholarship!

The 24-Hour Run is not just a fun community event; it’s a powerful opportunity to make an impact. We’re raising funds to give a Tanzanian student a full scholarship for the next school year. Even more exciting—Shelby Davis will match every dollar raised through his Dare to Dream fund, potentially allowing us to fund a second scholarship as well!

Over 80% of students in the Diploma Programme at UWCEA receive a full or partial scholarship.  The variety of countries our students come from and the as socio-economic diversity is possible through contributions from generous donors within our school community and worldwide.

Just as your family is part of this unique community today, your contribution can help ensure that a future student and their family will have the same life-changing opportunity. By supporting our scholarship program, you also contribute to the UWC mission of making education a force to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.

At UWCEA staff contribute an average of $14,400 annually, even while sponsoring their own children. We are also grateful for the support of our host families, PTA (Parents &Teachers Association)  and day students’ parents in all our events.
